What is RPEQ — And Why It Matters
- In Queensland, engineering services must meet the highest standards—not just in execution, but in legal accountability. That’s where RPEQ comes in.
- At Ace Projects QLD, our engineering services are overseen and signed off by a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). This isn’t just a title—it’s a legal requirement under the Professional Engineers Act 2002 and a mark of quality assurance for every project we deliver.
- Our Director, Anthony Earl, holds RPEQ registration along with:
- CPEng (Chartered Professional Engineer)
- MIEAust (Member of Engineers Australia)
- EngExec (Engineering Executive)
- APEC Engineer & IntPE(Aus) (International Registration)
- Why RPEQ is a Big Deal for Your Project:
- ✔ Legal Compliance: Engineering work in QLD must be carried out or supervised by an RPEQ—it’s the law.
- ✔ Certification Power: We can legally sign off on engineering plans, project completions, and compliance documents.
- ✔ Risk Mitigation: With RPEQ oversight, your project is covered by strict safety, quality, and professional standards.
- ✔ Tender Advantage: Government and infrastructure tenders often require RPEQ-certified leadership.
- When you work with Ace Projects QLD, you’re backed by a team with the legal authority and experience to deliver with confidence—from planning to handover.
- Discover how Ace Projects can help deliver successful outcomes for your water treatment initiatives, with expertise that ensures every project meets the highest standards.
“Our goal at Ace Projects QLD is simple: deliver engineering outcomes that are safe, smart, and built to last. We stand behind everything we sign off.”

What is an RPEQ and why does it matter?
RPEQ stands for Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland. It’s a legal designation under QLD law that ensures only qualified and accountable professionals can provide or oversee engineering work. At Ace Projects QLD, our Director, Anthony Earl, is RPEQ-certified—meaning your project is backed by someone legally authorised to sign off on designs, supervise work, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Can you certify or sign off engineering work in Queensland?
Yes. As a business led by a RPEQ-registered engineer, we are legally authorised to certify engineering designs, project completions, safety reports, and other compliance-based documents required in Queensland and for many government tenders.
What types of projects do you specialise in?
Our core experience lies in water and water treatment infrastructure, including confined-space environments, complex construction supervision, project and contract management, and regulatory change initiatives. We’ve worked on local government, utility, and commercial sector projects throughout QLD and internationally.
Can you help with project documentation or compliance?
Absolutely. We can assist with the creation, review, or certification of project documentation—including scopes of work, contractor briefs, change requests, compliance checklists, and handover reports.
Are your services available to councils or government departments?
Yes. We work with councils, utilities, contractors, and engineering consultants across Queensland. Our RPEQ and CPPM qualifications are often a requirement for local government work, especially in infrastructure and safety-critical environments.
